Gary and his technician Josh really took care of me. Excellent experience. People generally write reviews when they are pissed off so I thought I would write about how these guys went out of their way to help me. We bought a 1949 Chevy truck and it is in bad shape. It has a factory shifter on a replacement small block engine and it is a mess. They were very up front about what they could and couldn’t do and what they thought I should and shouldn’t do. They didn’t talk down to me, weren’t cocky but were nice, helpful and friendly. They knew I was under a bit of a time schedule and they helped me meet my deadline. They did what they said which was to get it “working” and we now have a plan for how to fix it permanently. I was treated fairly and charged a reasonable price. I can understand how for some people a transmission repair can be difficult because there are so many variations and parts that have to be ordered and you have to find them. For me, I knew that and came in with a plan to get it working and then repair it permanently.
